The room had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The cozy décor and charming old building gave it a unique character that added to the overall experience.
The wet room floor turned into a mini swimming pool during the shower, which could really use a shower screen to keep things dry. the bed had a tilt to it that made me feel like I was going to roll off, and the bathroom door was installed oddly—it was a bit of a scramble figuring out how to get through. Plus, the creaky floors made me worry about bothering others when I moved around, but that’s the price you pay for being in a place with such history. Oh, and the public areas could use a good tidying up too, especially the carpets and the garden that you have to pass through to reach the carpark.

The large bathroom had excellent facilities, but the church bells were noisy at night. Enjoyed fresh milk for tea.

Awesome stay with yummy breakfast!
Tyler was super helpful, letting us check in late without any fuss. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The breakfast spread was really delish—definitely hit the spot! Just a bit of noise from the road made it hard to sleep at times. But honestly, the homemade cookies in our room made up for it!

the boarding house was really cool, a beautiful old place with lots of character. tyler, the owner, was super nice and made us feel welcome right away. the food was amazin, especially dinner which used local ingredients and was really well presented. our room was huge and comfy. We loved the little touches like fresh milk and cookies. great location for exploring suffolk, close to the coast!
the decor in the common areas could use some sprucing up, and the shower had a bit of a flooding issue.

We had a lovely last-minute getaway and the room was spacious with a comfy bed and a stunning modern bathroom. The garden was a perfect spot for some quiet relaxation with a charming bench and beautiful flowers. Just a bit of noise from nearby restaurants late at night, but it didn’t spoil our fun! 😊
